Raysin: Mix about 4 tablespoons of Raysin with a little water to make a creamy mixture and pour the mixture into the mold. Tap the molds lightly on the surface so that the air bubbles rise and the mixture is more even. Leave to dry for approx. 45 minutes. After Time to dry:, you can carefully remove the casting from the mold.
Alcohol ink: Alcohol ink is a technique based on highly pigmented alcohol-based inks. The inks dry within a few minutes as the alcohol evaporates quickly. The extender (pure alcohol) can be used to reactivate the dried inks. This allows the inks to be blended and diluted wonderfully into and with each other. This creates soft color transitions and abstract effects quickly and easily. Apply the inks to the Raysin coaster and smudge them with the bellows or a straw. You can use the extender before or after. If you want the ink to spread better or over a larger area, first apply a few drops of the extender to the coaster and then the ink over it. Simply experiment by creating different color gradients. Next, you can apply cold glaze to the inside of the coaster if you wish.
Cold glaze: Always put on disposable gloves before working with cold glaze. Mix approx. 20 ml cold glaze with 10 ml resin and 10 ml hardener in a measuring jug. Stir the mixture well until it becomes cloudy. Pour the resin mixture onto the coaster. and then blow dry with the embossing dryer until all the bubbles have been removed and the mixture is crystal clear. Leave to dry for at least 24 hours.
Finally, you can sand the bottom of the coaster smooth if necessary and cover it with cork. To do this, cut the cork to size and remove the protective film. Then glue it on with handicraft glue .
