This step is great fun for the little ones. Grab the vellum paper and tear it into lots of little snippets. You don't have to pay attention to even or straight shapes. Let your creativity run wild and tear the pieces of paper into different sizes.

Now generously coat the lamp foil with glue. A brush or sponge will help. Don't skimp on the glue. Now the little ones can spread the snippets in a criss-cross pattern and press them down lightly. If desired, you can apply several layers on top of each other, then simply apply more glue. Make sure that the entire surface of the foil is covered. Leave the artwork to dry for one to two hours.

You will need a stencil in the shape of an egg to turn the colorful lamp foil into enchanting pendants. Draw it on cardboard and transfer it to the dried foil. Cut out the eggs. Depending on your children's skills with scissors, you can help them with this. Finally, attach a hanging loop to the eggs: Carefully pull a thread through the foil with a sewing needle to create individual window pictures. Find a nice spot and decorate your window with these original works of art.
