The process of marbling
Step 1: Fill the container with water
First fill an old container large enough with water so that the heart can be completely immersed. This container will serve as the paint bath, so it should be at least 15 cm in diameter and 15 cm high.
Step 2: Add the marbling paints to the water
Insert the wooden skewer into the polystyrene heart. Now add about ten drops of one color directly into the water. These drops form a closed layer of paint on the surface of the water. Repeat this process with other colors by adding a few drops in the middle of the exciting pattern.
Step 3: Create a play of colors
Step 4: Marbling the heart
Now slowly dip the heart on the wooden skewer into the paint bath. The paint film wraps around the heart. Then pull it out again quickly to avoid overlapping the colors. To preserve the colors, you can lightly blow away the paint film beforehand.
Step 5: Remove the old paint layer
Leave the heart to dry. Before you marble more hearts, remove the old layer of paint from the surface of the water with a piece of Paper . This will make room for new color patterns. "Easy marble" paints are dust-dry after approx. 15 minutes and can even be wiped off with a damp cloth once completely dry.
