Preparation and priming

First print out the template and cut it out carefully. then transfer the template to the corrugated cardboard blank. Use scissors and a cutter, to achieve precise results. Paint both "sauna walls" generously with white handicraft paint. This will make your miniature sauna look particularly inviting.

Construction of the miniature sauna

Cut out the lamp foil and stick it behind the windows and door of the sauna from the inside. This will give your miniature an authentic shine. Glue together four wooden spatulas for the floor of the barrel sauna. Cut two pieces about 6 cm long from a spatula and glue them across the four spatulas to join them together firmly. Then attach the front and back of the sauna (cut out of corrugated board ) to the front and back of the four wooden spatulas. Use some shortened wooden spatulas to create extra stability from the inside.

Before attaching the "roof", attach the Micro LED chain of light in the sauna. In our example, we have cut off 5 lights to provide pleasant lighting. Glue the battery compartment to the back of the sauna and close the roof by wrapping the sauna from the outside with the wooden spatulas.

Design of the details

Now build a small staircase and window sills for your miniature. These can also be cut out of the spatulas, painted and glued together. These details will make your project even more realistic. When everything is dry, paint all the parts, including the rocking chair and the doghouse, with white handicraft paint.

After drying, glue a green chenille wire to the sauna and the doghouse as a fir garland. Then attach the miniature fairy lights to them. For the finishing touch, stick a few gold stars on the windows and the door.

Cosy atmosphere - the finishing touch

Cut out two rectangles from felt that you can use as a blanket and cushion for the mini rocking chair. Place one piece felt in the doghouse. Fold the other piece slightly over the back of the chair to simulate a cozy blanket. Now carefully glue the cushions and the cup to the chair to create a cozy atmosphere.

Set up your miniature world and place the fir trees as you wish. Finally, sprinkle some organic snow over your miniatures to complete the winter charm.
