Preparing the wooden disc
Place the graphite paper on the wooden disc with the dark side facing down. The graphite paper allows you to easily transfer the motif to the wooden surface by tracing the lines. Print out your desired template. Place the printed sheet on top of the graphite paper. This will give you a clear, clean motif on your wooden disk that you can trace. Use a pencil or ballpoint pen to trace the motif. Be precise so that the graphite paper transfers the design clearly onto the wooden disc.
Use a branding pencil
Once the motif has been transferred to the wooden panel, you can trace over it with a branding pencil. Make sure you keep a steady hand to create even lines.
Tip: Change the tips of the branding pen to achieve different effects. This allows you to add depth and texture to your work, making your design even more impressive.
Add decorative elements
Cut or saw the sticks or cinnamon sticks to the desired length. These elements will later complement your hanging decoration and give it a natural flair.
Screw the eyelets into the wooden disk. These serve as attachment points to securely connect the various decorative elements.
Use jute ribbon, to knot the wooden discs, oranges and sticks or cinnamon sticks together.
