To give them an idea of how long it is until the big day, the soon-to-be ABCs can count down the last few days in our countdown school bag and even cut them off. A great idea to shorten the waiting time for your child until start of school ..
Print out the templates and use graphite paper to transfer them onto the motif cardboard.
Cut everything out.
Trace the lettering, lines and numbers with the Posca marker. Now glue both parts together with some handicraft glue together. Tie a knot to the "clasp" and close it with a bow satin ribbon knotted and closed with a bow.
Our countdown calendar is made for 15 days. You can adapt this to your child's needs and lengthen or shorten the calendar as you wish.
Now your child can cut off a piece of the school cone every day and visually see how long it is until the big school enrolment day.
