First, prime the rose pot and the saucer with the gray-brown handicraft paint. After drying, coat the whole thing with crackle varnish. As soon as this has dried, apply the antique white handicraft paint further, to the rose pot and saucer.
To create a nice "tearing effect", it is important to paint in one direction with the brush.
Now tear the desired motifs from the napkin. When everything is dry, coat the rose pot and the saucer with napkin varnish. Then stick the top printed layer of napkin on top and brush over it again with napkin varnish . Finally, seal the rose pot and the saucer with the weatherproofing.
Next, paint a sheet of embossing foil with antique white handicraft paint. Allow the paint to dry completely. Stick the top printed layer of napkin onto it as explained above. Once dry, cut out individual motifs with the tweezers scissors. Then place these with the motif facing downwards on the VBS Special mat and press them into the embossing foil in a circular motion using the embossing pen. This creates a fascinating 3D effect.
Use the VBS handicraft glue now fix the butterflies to the terracotta pot.
