VBS Craft kit "Terracotta pot bunny"

These bunnies are a must for Easter! Our VBS craft kit " "terracotta pot- bunnies " is very easy to make and can also be made together with children. The cute bunnies are not only only a great decoration for Easter, but also a great surprise when they are filled with little treats.

In addition to the materials included in the set, you will also need scissors, a fineliners and a red and white pen.

Step 1
First paint all the clay pots with handicraft paint in beige . Make sure that the paint covers well. Apply a second coat if necessary.

Step 2
The faces follow in the next step. Decide here whether you want to use your terracotta pot as a decorative object or rather as gift wrapping . Accordingly, take the terracotta pot and draw the face delicately with a pencil. Then glue on the wobbly eyes first. Then color in the nose and, if necessary, the teeth. All other details are traced with a thin fineliners (approx. line thickness 0.3).

Step 3
Now transfer the motif template for the ears to the craft felt. Cut everything out and glue an inner ear in white onto the colored ear. Glue both finished ears together at the bottom with a dot of glue. Then glue them to the inside or into the hole of the clay pot and decorate them with a mini bow.

Step 4
The decorative terracotta pot-bunnies are ready, but the gift wrappings still need to be filled! To do this, take the cellophane bags included in the set and place them in the terracotta pot. Now fill them with great treats and close them with the satin ribbon. Finally, shape the cellophane bags, the bow and the ears nicely and you're done!
