Difficulty: Beginner
Working time: 2 Hours
First, the terracotta pots are painted with gray-brown handicraft paint paint. Important: It is best to apply 3 coats so that the paint covers well. The individual layers of paint should always be completely dry before applying another one.
In the next step, you can decide whether you want to use the moose as a decorative object or rather as gift wrapping . Or you can do as in our example and make both versions.
Decorative object variant:
1. After the base color has dried, place the terracotta-pots on the table with the opening facing downwards. Now tie the bow around the bottom edge. If necessary, you can glue the bow on at certain points. Simply cut off any ends that are too long.
2. Now transfer the motif template for the ears to the craft felt. Cut them out with sharp scissors. Apply a dot of hot glue to the lower ends of the ears and glue them together. This makes them look more three-dimensional. Then glue on the ears and also the eyes and pompom nose.
3. Finally, bend the antlers out of chenille wire. To do this, cut off 2 x 6 cm pieces. Wrap these two pieces around the ends of the remaining chenille wire. Now twist the chenille wire into a spiral in the middle and glue it to the terracotta-pot.
Variant gift wrapping:
1. First repeat step 2 from the decorative object version.
2. Now bend the antlers. To do this, cut a chenille wire. in half and wrap one piece of chenille around the other so that you have one antler each. Glue the finished antlers to the inside of the terracotta-pots.
3. Finally, fill the pots. Either place small boxes inside or fill a bag with a drawstring VBS Bag with a drawstring and place it in the pot.
Have fun crafting!
