These decorative thread pictures were designed on kraft paper. With ribbons, they can be used wonderfully as gift tags or as tree decorations. With the free motif template you can easily make the thread pictures.
Punch out circles or other shapes from the kraft paper as you like. In our example, we chose circles.
Print out the design template, transfer the markings to the punched paper circles and punch the markings with a hole punch.
Embroider the design with two different coloured threads and secure the threads on the back with a knot.
Leave one thread long for each embroidery design. This will later serve as a hanger.
Make two circles of each design and stick them together with 3D adhesive pads. This way the unsightly backs are no longer visible and the thread ends are fixed at the same time.
