DIY: Reindeer Christmas balls

The magic of the Christmas season often lies in the details. A self-decorated Christmas tree makes hearts beat faster and creates a warm atmosphere. Instead of using the same Christmas baubles every year, why not create something unique? In this tutorial, I will show you how to make enchanting reindeer Christmas baubles that will bring a smile to every face and make your tree a real eye-catcher. Let your creativity run wild!

Start by thoroughly stirring the Inka-Gold paint. Then, apply a suitable amount directly to the glass bauble using a paint sponge. It is best to use a quartered sponge to evenly distribute the paint. Depending on the desired color intensity, apply multiple layers and let each one dry well.

If you want the reindeer to have a rougher look, you can dab the paint with the sponge. Be careful not to press too hard with this technique to avoid damaging the previous layer.

For working with the bauble, it is easier to remove the hanger, but you can also gild it.

While the paint is drying, you can make the ears. Cut drop shapes from felt - two large and two small for each color. Glue these on top of each other. At the tip, cut them slightly to shape the ears. Fix the ear shapes with some craft glue and let them dry. Tip: Use clips to hold the ears in place until the glue hardens.

Once the ears are dry, cut the lower ends straight without removing too much of the glued area.

Now attach the red pom-poms as noses and then use hot glue to fix the ears onto the bauble.

Using a POSCA marker, draw the eyes on the bauble. Finally, attach small branched twigs as antlers. Birch twigs are particularly suitable for giving the reindeer the perfect look.
