Print out the template, cut it out and transfer it to the motif cardboard transfer. The egg and dinosaur must be transferred twice. It is important that these are transferred once in mirror image. Stick white straw silk paper on the back of the eggs (green side). Allow the dinosaurs (on the light side) to dry with light green vellum paper. Glue the dino and egg together with VBS handicraft glue glue them together.
Then draw the intermediate piece and cut it out. Fold over the corners. The intermediate piece of the "egg" should be about 40 cm long and that of the dino about 20 cm long. Glue the intermediate piece of the egg onto the egg with the dotted side facing outwards. Glue the intermediate piece for the dino (with the green side facing outwards) first to the intermediate piece of the egg and then further to the edge. Poke a small hole through both ends, e.g. with a pin. Pull a piece of from binding wire through this and twist the ends together.
Finally, bend the wires of the chain of light into a large ball and place this inside the lantern. You can place the battery compartment inside or glue it to the top edge of the lantern with hot glue. If the lantern rod is too long, you can cut it to the desired length with scissors.
Thanks to the timer function of the chain of light , the lantern can be used as a great night light in the children's room.
