Mandala stencil idea

Stencils can be used to create individual decorative objects in no time at all. Whether painting glass, designing wood with a branding pen or creatively decorating acrylic - these instructions will show you how to use a stencil set to create four craft projects easily and effectively. The techniques are also suitable for beginners and ensure professional results with little effort.

Paint the glass plate with stencil
First remove dust and grease from the glass so that the paint adheres well after painting.

Place the stencil upside down and spray it evenly with spray adhesive. Then place them on the back of the round glass plate VBS Glass plate and press it down carefully so that no paint runs underneath.

Dab the motif with a dabbing brush and KREUL Glass & Porcelain paint. When dabbing, the paint is applied vertically to create clean edges without streaks. Carefully remove the stencil and clean it immediately with clear water.

Leave the glass plate to dry for at least four hours. To bake it, place it in a cold oven, heat it to 160 °C and bake the paint for 90 minutes. Then leave the plate to cool completely in the oven - this will make the paint durable and dishwasher-safe.

Branding decorative wood panels
You can burn natural motifs permanently into the wood using a stencil .

Place the stencil on the decorative wood panel with bark and trace the desired motifs with a pencil. Choose a suitable wooden burning pen accessoires and screw it into the branding iron. During heating, always place the flask on the stand to protect sensitive surfaces.

The appliance is ready for use after about five minutes. Now trace the marked lines slowly and evenly. The heat burns the motifs into the wood permanently. Work without pressure - the wood reacts to the temperature alone.

Paint the VBS napkin holder completely with handicraft paint and allow everything to dry well. Then apply spray adhesive to the back of the stencil , place it on the napkin holder and press it down firmly.

Dab the motif with a dabbing brush and metallic paint . The shimmering color creates elegant accents and highlights the pattern beautifully. Carefully remove the stencil , clean it with water and repeat the process if necessary. Then leave the napkin holder to dry completely.

First design one side of the round acrylic-separating and painting disk with Alcohol Ink. Put a few drops of ink on the surface - it will spread by itself. Place other colors next to it so that they displace each other and create exciting color effects. By blowing lightly, you can move the ink and create softer color gradients. Leave the surface to dry completely.

Turn the pane over and apply the stencil with spray adhesive to the untreated side. Dab the motif with handicraft paint , remove the stencil and clean it immediately. Once dry, drill a small hole in the acrylic disc. with a hand drill, thread perlon thread through it, string beads as desired and knot the ends together - your decorative eye-catcher is finished.
