Make yourself a chic tray for your garden or terrace. It does not look good only , but is also practical. So you can transport glasses, pastries and much more. Or you can decorate the tray with beautiful flowers and have an impressive table decoration.
Designing a tray
Firstprime the tray with white Acrylic paint. The paint is applied evenly with a brush or with a Paint sponge . Then let the tray dry well.
For the tropical pattern use a Napkin and glue it with Napkin varnish on the tray. For this, brush the tray with Napkin varnish and place the top printed layer of Napkin in the middle of the tray. Now brush again with Napkin varnish . Spread the varnish evenly on the tray, as it dries silky-matt and then you can see a complete shiny surface.
Cut out individual motifs from Napkin and stick them onto the front of the tray
We have contrasted the edges of the tray with blue Acrylic paint . In our example we have mixed ice blue with turquoise blue Acrylic paint .
Drinking glasses with lid
Unscrew the covers of the sight glasses and remove the rubber stopper. Cover the hole from the inside with masking tape
Now you can colour the lids. We have magenta and petrol coloured Colour spray is used. After drying, remove the crepe tape and can now reinsert the rubber plug.
Painting a palm tree
The palm tree is a decorative eye-catcher and quickly designed. Simply with Acrylic paintpaint.
You can get the beautiful shades by priming the palm fronds in light green and then accentuating them in a darker green. For the trunk we first used the darker colour and then set the shades with lighter Acrylic paint .
