Silhouette Portrait 3

The Silhouette Portrait 3 is the smallest Hobbyplotter-Machine from Silhouette and a "must" for all handicraft enthusiasts.

The Hobbyplotter cuts a wide variety of materials such as Paper, cardboard and stickers, sheets as well as longer material rolls, such as vinyl or textile transfer films with a width of up to 20.3 cm and a length of up to 18 meters. Like its predecessor, the Silhouette Portrait 3 has a 2 mm clearance for thicker materials.

Compared to the Silhouette Portrait 2, the Silhouette Portrait 3 has a self-adjusting blade with tool recognition. This new feature simplifies the operation of the hobby plotter, as it automatically recognises the blade you have mounted and makes the necessary adjustments.

The Silhouette Portrait 3 also allows you to use the matless cutting mode, which allows you to plotter without a cutting mat. The so-called Pop-Out Cut.

As with Silhouette Portrait 2, Silhouette Portrait 3 includes an AutoBlade that can be controlled via the AutoBlade function in the software. This allows the necessary presetting to be made for each material, thus preventing the cutting mat from being cut through or cut up completely.

Not only the conventional cutting is possible with the Portrait 3, but also numerous other functions are available with this creative plotter. Painting, drawing, scanning and printing are now also possible thanks to the wide range of accessories. With the PixScan function, photos or images are simply photographed or scanned and cut out at the desired places. A further function is the Print&Cut, where sketches from the PC are brought to Paper with your favourite pens, or photos are printed and then cut out exactly at the desired markers. These functions are also quick and intuitive to use thanks to the easy-to-understand software, making plottering the highlight of the day.
